Job Description:

• Provide a variety of mobile ultrasound examinations on an as needed basis.  This will include Saturday and Sunday PRN from 8:00am–5:00pm.   Sonographer will be paid for weekend on-call time and PRN.  Also, will provide PRN during the week on an as needed basis.
• Explain the ultrasound procedure to patient and answer any questions they may have.
• Maintain ultrasound equipment.
• Capture images of every angle/section that must be assessed.
• Evaluate the images for their quality, but also to interpret what was captured in the image.
• Present images and preliminary findings to the healthcare team and radiologists.
• Maintain patient records and add medical notes related to the ultrasound procedure.
• Pre-employment drug test and background check are required.

Desired Skills and Experience:

ARDMS or CCI Certifications, including:
RDMS – Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
RDCS – Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer
RVT – Registered Vascular Technologist
CCI – Cardiovascular Credentialing International
CCT, RCS, RVS
